IN VOLT-FREE(CD-M & O MUSIC)

När man läser pressreleasen blir man lätt förvirrad för här nämns namn som Celine Dion, Whitney Houston(visst det är någon snubbe de jobbat ihop med som jobbat med de kvinnorna) och sedan nämns Toten Hosen, Joy Division och då handlar den om en producent….så detta kan bli intressant. Det är inte så nära någon av dessa artister/grupper utan jag tänker kanske mer på Jimi Hendrix och Danko Jones om man säger så för det är en ganska larmig musik med rötterna i lite tuffare rock. Jag blir lite överraskad i första låten Free också när de plötsligt sjunger på tyska en stund…lite roligt. Det här med tyskan fortsätter att stickas in lite här och där och deras 70-tals inspirerade hårda rock blir ganska intressant faktiskt. Jag troir säkert om ni är i min ålder (50+) och är uppväxta med hårdrock från den tiden, då kommer ni att uppskatta In Volt! 4/2-2019

When you read the press release, you get easily confused because here names are mentioned as Celine Dion, Whitney Houston (certainly there is some guy they worked with who worked with those women) and then it is mentioned Toten Hosen, Joy Division and then it is about a producer ... So this can be interesting. It is not so close to any of these artists / groups, but I might think more about Jimi Hendrix and Danko Jones if you say so because it is a rather loud music with the roots of a bit tougher rock. I get a little surprised in the first song Free also when they suddenly sings in German for a while ... a little funny. This with the German continues to be in some songs a bit here and there and their 70's inspired hard rock becomes quite interesting indeed. I certainly believe if you are in my age (50+) and have grown up with hard rock from that time, then you will appreciate In Volt! 4/2-2019
