HOLIDAY WITH MAGGIE-WELCOME TO HOPE(CD-SPEECH SP 64/DIET RECORDS) Två killar med hjälp av en trummis på denna skiva utgör gruppen Holiday with Maggie. Kul med nya grupper i Sverige som jag inte ens hört talas om. Roligt också med skivbolag som jag inte hört talas om. Här har de draghälp av Speech/West Side Fabrication och det kan jag nästan förstå. Ganska drivig powerpop är vad Holidays with Maggie ger oss. Jag kan tänka mig att de skulle kunna spelas mycket på radion för det är en typen av indie som passar in bra där. Fan…tänk vad Sverige är bar på att göra musik egentligen… i alla stilar men indie/garage/punk är väl ändå Sverige världsmästare i? Jag tycker att HWM hjälper till att hålla fanan högt i och med denna skivan.(SJU) 4/9-06 |

It's fun with new groups in Sweden which I never have heard of, It's fun also with new record labels which I haven´t heard of before. Here they have help from Speech/West Side Fabrication and that can I almost understand. Really driven powerpop is what Holdidays with Maggie gives us. I can imagine that this type of music could be played a lot in the readio because this type of indie really suits in very fine there. Fuck…think of how much good music which is produced in Sweden….in all styles but indie/garage/punk is a thing that Sweden is best in the world at, or? I think that HWM helps out with holding the flag really high with this record.(SEVEN) 4/9-06 |
