HEPCAT-OUT OF NOWHERE(CD-HELLCAT 0425-2) Det jag gillar med Hepcat är att de spelar en såpass renodlad skamusik utan några som helst inslag av rock eller punk. Det skall de ha cred för. Man svänger runt i en yster dans när man hör deras svängiga musik. De 13 låtarna plus två bonuslåtar klockar in under timman men det känns inte att man har lyssnat så länge för det går ju fort när man har trevligt sägs det ju. Och trevligt är ordet som verkligen dyker upp när man lyssnar på Hepcat för man ler med hela ansiktet när man lyssnar på dessa grabbar. Kolla in om ni vill ha renodlad ska.(SJU) 5/3-04

 HEPCAT-OUT OF NOWHERE(CD-HELLCAT 0425-2) The ting I really like with Hepcat is that they play skamusic without any influences from punk/rock and that shall they have cred for. I really swing around in a dance when I listen to them and the 13 songs plus the two bonussongs comes to us during an hour. I can´t feel that an hour have gone but time flies it says when you have a nice time. HEPCAT-PUSH N SHOVE(CD-HELLCAT 0419-2/HOK/MNW) Hepcat är en grupp som verkligen vet hur man tar tillvara sina influenser. Att de har lyssnat på tidig ska och reggae det är väl inget att tveka om för sådan här musik kommer inte av sig själv. Här finns inte ett spår av rock eller punk utan här är det ren ska som gäller. Jag kan tänka mig att ni som är inne på 60-talsska kommer att älska detta för Hepcat gör sådan fast med ett modernt inspelningssound och det blir ju så mycket bättre och inte så tunt ljud som de hade då(SJU)  11/7-00 HEPCAT-PUSH N SHOVE(CD-HELLCAT 0419-2/HOK/MNW) Hepcat Is a group which really know how to take care about their influences. That they have listened to early ska and reggae isn´t anything to talk about becuase this sort of music don´t come of itself. Here´s not a trace of punk or rock  because here´s only ska which is the thing. I can think of that you who like 60´s sak will love this because Hepcat do that sort of music but with a recording sound which is much better and not so thin as the old recordings(SEVEN) 11/7-00
