HELVETESMASKINEN-EXTENDED EP(CD-MOCKO RECORDS MOCKO CD002)

Den här skivan innehåller tre nya låtar och som bonus finns deras debut-Lp för första gången på CD. Så jag kommer att fokusera på de tre nya låtarna, Alla Starka Män, 123456 och Den goda tiden. Alla Starka män är nog en av deras bästa och tuffaste låtar hittills kan jag tänka mig och när en grupp tar ställning som Helvetesmaskinen gör så är det punk på hög nivå. Det är hög intensitet i både gitarr och i Jörgens sång. Låten som heter 123456 känns också den bland det starkaste de gjort. Det är ingen nytt i deras musik men det tar inte bort från dem att de gjort tre riktigt bra nya låtar och 123456 är en av dem. För det är klart att man hör lite ekon från KSMB, medlemmarnas gamla band etc men det är väl inte konstigt. Den goda tiden är den lugnaste av låtarna av de nya men det gör den inte sämre för det. Ni ska skatta er lyckliga också för att ni får med hela deras debut-Lp som extra låtar. En skiva att spela om och om och om igen! 1/12-2025

This album contains three new songs and as a bonus their debut LP is available for the first time on CD. So I'm going to focus on the three new songs, Alla Starka män, 123456 and Den goda tiden. Alla Starka män is probably one of their best and toughest songs so far I can imagine and when a group takes a stand as Helvetesmaskinen does it is punk on a high level. There is high intensity in both guitar and in Jörgen's vocals. The song called 123456 also feels like one of the strongest they've done. It is nothing new in their music but it does not take away from them that they have done three really good new songs and 123456 is one of them. Because of course you hear some echoes from KSMB, the members' old bands etc but it's not strange. Den goda tiden is the calmest of the songs of the new ones but that doesn't make it worse for that. You should count yourselves lucky also because you get their entire debut LP as extra songs. A record to play over and over and over again! 1/12-2025

HELVETESMASKINEN-SLACKER SUPERSTAR(LP-MOCKO RECORDS LP 003)

Med medlemmar från KSMB, Sixten Redlös, G-anx, Skelett och Hyperactives samlas detta band under namnet Helvetesmaskinen. Det som hörs mest är väl arvet från både KSMB och Sixten och det är ett välkommet och varmt sound för oss som varit med i punk ens värld länge och framförallt i den svenska punken. Det är jävligt skön känsla att sätta på skivan om och om igen för de här tio låtarna är verkligen värda att dö för om man säger så. Ett av de bättre svenska punkalbumen i år, det är helt klart och man kanske kan tycka eftersom det är så pass rutinerade gamla punkrävar att det skulle låta trött men det är verkligen inte fallet. Det känns nyskapande trots att det självklart finns influenser från förr men med de influenserna som finns där så är det ingen fara. Jag tror inte någon av er som gillar KSMB, Ebba, Charta 77 etc etc inte skulle gilla detta och då menar jag inte bara att det är gamla punkare som kommer att gilla detta för jag tror helt säkert att de kan hitta yngre fans. I Delete är det ett riktigt snabbt tempo och här finns inga tecken på ålderskrämpor. Det är ett jävla driv i den låten och det känns som hela bandet är på topp i denna låt. Jag hade hört några av låtarna innan men när jag hör helheten som en hel LP blir det fantastiskt bra. Om ni skulle missa den här gruppen så finns det ingen anledning att leva vidare för Helvetesmaskinen ger dig allt du vill ha när det handlar om punk…..attityd, bra texter och framförallt jävligt bra låtar. HELVETESMASKINEN-SLACKER SUPERSTAR(LP-MOCKO RECORDS LP 003)

With members from KSMB, Sixten Redlös, G-anx, Skelett and Hyperactives, this band gathers under the name Helvetesmaskinen. What is heard the most is the heritage from both KSMB and Sixten and it is a welcome and warm sound for us who have been in the punk world for a long time and especially in the Swedish punk. It's a damn nice feeling to put on the record over and over again because these ten songs are really worth dying for if you say so. One of the better Swedish punkalbums this year, it ́s clear and you can think because it ́s so experienced old punks that it would sound tired but that ́s really not the case. It feels innovative even though there are of course influences from the past, but with the influences that are there, it's not a problem. I don't think any of you who like KSMB, Ebba, Charta 77 etc etc wouldn't like this and I don't mean that it's only old punks who will like this because I think for sure that they can find younger fans. In Delete, it's a really fast pace and there are no signs of age ailments. There is a fucking drive in that song and it feels like the whole band is on top in this song. I had heard some of the songs before but when I hear the whole as a whole LP it becomes fantastic. If you should miss this group there is no reason to live on because Helvetesmaskinen gives you everything you want when it comes to punk.....attitude, good lyrics and above all damn good songs.
