HEAVEN & HELL-RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL LIVE(2CD SPV 98102 2CD/PLAYGROUND) Efter vad jag förstår så får de inte kalla sig Black Sabbath men under en tid för länge sedan så gjorde det…..nu sjunger Ronnie James Dio med gruppen igen och då tog de detta namn. Låtar från den perioden då Dio sjöng med Black Sabbath och många anser att det Black Sabbath är bättre än det ”riktiga” med Ozzy. Jag vet inte…det blir som två olika grupper på något sätt även om bakgrunden är densamma på något sätt. Det här är en liveupptagning som sträcker sig över 15 låtar och två CD och det är mastigt med all denna tunga musik som vräks över oss. Man förstår när man hör detta att Black Sabbath har varit förebilder för många nyare grupper i alla fall och här låter de inte som ett gäng trötta gubbar i alla fall.(SJU) 27/8-07 |

Songs from the period when Dio singed with Black Sabbath and many sees that period as the best period in this groups history and it´s even better thatn Ozzy on vocals…I don´t know , there is two different groups even if the background music is the same in some way. This is a liverecording with heavy music which is coming over us. You can understand when I hear this that the group have been inspiration for many new groups anyway and here they don´t sound as a gang of old guys which is really tired anyway.(SEVEN) 27/8-07 |
