HAWKWIND-INTO THE WOODS(CD-CHERRY RED CDBRED700/BORDER)

Kul att få nummer 700 i Cherry Reds samling av riktigt bra skivor. Gamla gruppen Hawkwind fortsätter oförtrutet sin musikaliska resa och i några av låtarna låter de förvånansvärt pigga. Min favoritlåt på skivan är Have you seen them som låter som en blandning av Neil Young, Psychedelic Furs och Leathernun för att nämna några. Annars är det en ganska trevlig psykedelisk resa som de bjuder oss på måste jag säga och varför inte följa med på den. Tyngd finns här också för de som gillar det och jag tror att skivan kan var en upplevelse för många faktiskt och jag gillar att de på samma gång som de håller sin stil så blandar de in många genres i musiken. Skickliga musiker helt klart! 11/5-2017

Good to get number 700 in Cherry Red's collection of really good records. The old group Hawkwind continues untouched its musical journey and in some of the songs they make surprising nice. My favorite song on the album is Have you seen them that sound like a mix of Neil Young, Psychedelic Furs and Leathernun to name a few. Otherwise, it's a pretty nice psychedelic journey that they invite us on, I have to say and why not follow it. There is also heaviness here for those who like it and I think that the disc can be an experience for many indeed and I like that at the same time as they keep their style, they mix in many genres in the music. Good musicians of course! 11/5-2017
