HANDFUL-SONS OF DOWNTOWN(CD)

Det första som slår mig är att det är ganska hög medelålder på detta band. Det andra som slår mig är att det känns omöjligt efter att ha sett bilderna på gruppen att förstå vilken typ av musik de kommer att spela. En kille ser ut som Alice Cooper, en ganska städad med nitjacka, en som om han var tagen från ett garageband och en hardcoresnubbe.  På framsidan är det en tjej med tuppkam och en kille med långt hår så någonstans mellan metal och punk gissar jag. Nu ska jag lyssna på skivan också. Det drar helt klart mest till metal och då handlar det om den metal som grupper som Cult brukar spela och inledningsvis tycker jag att det låter ganska likt den musik som the Cult spelar och det är ju trevligt för den typen av metal gillar jag ju mycket! Så som ni förstår så låter sångaren rätt mycket som Ian Astbury och det är ju kul! 13/5-2015

The first thing that strikes me is that there is quite a high average age of this band. The other thing that strikes me is that it seems impossible after seeing the pictures on the group to understand what kind of music they will play. A guy looks like Alice Cooper, a pretty tidy with studded jacket, one that if he was taken from a garage band and a hardcore dude. On the front is a girl with a mohawk and a guy with long hair so somewhere between metal and punk, I guess. Now I listen to the album as well. It draws clearly the most to the metal and then it is about the metal that groups Cult usually play and, initially, I think it sounds pretty much like the music that the Cult to play and it's nice for the type of metal I like the course very much! So as you can imagine, it allows the singer pretty much like Ian Astbury and it's fun! 13/5-2015
