GRATITUDES-DEGENERATES ARE BACK(LP-WESTERGAARD SCHNOOT 059)

Detta band kommer från Norge och bara att ha en sångerska som heter Ingvild i förnamn. Så jävla bra namn för vild är det man kan säga om musiken ….helt klart. Nio låtar som det är väldigt svårt att sitta still till…det måste jag säga. Inleder med låten Datin the Donnas och det var faktiskt ett av banden som dök upp i mitt huvud när jag första satte på skivan. Det är en ganska skön still av rock n roll med punkinfluenser och det mest sköna är nästan tempot de har mellan låtarna…typ ingen vilopaus utan det blir helt Ingvild ,-). Mycket attityd är det i deras musik och skulle ni missa denna norska grupp kommer ni att ångra er för alltid även om ni inte kanske inte är medvetna om det. Men en av Norges bästa skivor anno,2024 kan jag tänka mig när året summeras i Norge. Och den kommer med på den nordiska listan också över de bästa punksläppen i år. Finns inte mycket chans till att återhämta krafterna mellan låtarna men det behövs kanske inte egentligen.  Mycket attityd och jag skulle bli väldigt överraskad om inte gruppen blir riktigt stor. Låten Degenerates are back känns nästan som en gammal Suzi Quartz-låt eller något sådant. Men om vi sammanfattat så tycker jag att detta är klockrent för bättre punk rock n roll är svår att få tag i just nu. 21/10-2024

This band comes from Norway and only has one singer named Ingvild in her first name. So damn good name for wild is what you can say about the music....for sure. Nine songs that are very hard to sit still to... I have to say that. Starts with the song Datin the Donnas and it was actually one of the bands that popped into my head when I first put on the record. It's a really nice style of rock n roll with punk influences and the most nice thing is almost the tempo they have between the songs... like no rest but it will be completely Ingvild ,-). A lot of attitude is there in their music and should you miss this Norwegian group you will regret it forever even if you may not be aware of it. But one of Norway's best albums anno,2024 I can imagine when the year is summed up in Norway. And it also makes it on the Nordic list of the best punk releases this year. There is not much chance to recover the strength between the songs but it may not really be needed. A lot of attitude and I would be very surprised if the group doesn ́t become really big, The song Degenerates are back feels almost like an old Suzi Quartz song or something like that. But if we summarized I think this is perfect because better punk rock n roll is hard to get hold of right now. 21/10-2024
