GOO GOO DOLLS-EGO,OPINION ,ART & COMMERCE(CD-EDEL RECORDS 0127112HWR) Jag som har varit med från början när denna grupp spelade mer punkig rock än rockig pop tycker väl att det är lite för lite med från den första tiden. Min favoritlåt kommer Hold me Up och heter Laughing men man kan ju inte alla tycka lika. Goo Goo Dolls har etablerat sig som ett band som många olika grupper av människor tycker om men det finns en risk att de skall falla in i samma glömska som Soul Asylum gjorde. För deras musik går i samma stil tycker jag även om Goo Goo Dolls sticker ut mycket mer. Men bara de inte fortsätter att släta ut sin musik och glömmer sina punkrötter. I vilket fall en mycket bra rocksamling(SJU) 19/6-01

My favouritesong comes from Hold me up and are named Laughing but you can´t all think the same. Goo Goo Dolls have been established as a band which many different people can like but there´s a risk that they can be forgotten in the same way that Soul Asylum did. Because their music goes in the same way as Soul Asylum did but Goo Goo Dolls sticks out more. But I don´t hope they´re going to put their music more into the popscene and forget their punkroots, I don´t really hope so. In every case it´s a very good rockcompilation(SEVEN) 19/6-01
