THE GANGNAILS-ROLLING TUNES!(LP-PAPAGAJUV HLSATEL RECORDS‎– PH 259)

Tjeckisk musik gillar jag ju som ni vet och då helst när man sjunger på sitt hemspråk. Här är det engelska som gäller. Men det är ändå mer än OK att gruppen sjunger på engelska för deras musik är riktigt trevlig. Det är en musik som får mig att komma att tänka på gamla The Straps som säkert nästan ingen minns men som var en riktigt bra punkgrupp som på något sätt blandade punk med hårdrockabilly om man skulle kunna kalla någon musik så. Till och med lite Motörhead-tongångar i Train to Limbo och det som slår mig mest är att det är ett jävla tempo i deras musik och det är en skön upplevelse. Jag är ju inte så förtjust i rockabilly men när man gör musiken på detta vis så blir det en underbar kombo av gammalt och nytt.  Så det blir inte mycket till vilopaus när man lyssnar på gruppen och varje låt är som ett slag i ansiktet, då menar jag inte det gör ont men man vaknar till. Kärlek till bandet och det är kul med något som inte låter om allt annat utan att på något sätt låta konstigt! 28/6-2021

As you know, I like Czech music, especially when you sing in your home language. Here it is English that applies. But it's still more than OK that the group sings in English because their music is really nice. It's a music that makes me think of old The Straps that almost no one remembers but which was a really good punk group that somehow mixed punk with hardrockabilly if you could call any music that. Even a little Motörhead tones in Train to Limbo and what strikes me the most is that it's a fucking tempo in their music and it's a nice experience. I'm not so fond of rockabilly, but when you make music in this way, it becomes a wonderful combo of old and new. So there is not much to rest when you listen to the group and each song is like a slap in the face, then I do not mean it hurts but you wake up. Love the band and it's fun with something that does not sound like anything else without sounding weird in any way! 28/6-2021
