FROM FIRST TO LAST-HEROINE(CD-EPITAPH 6779-2/SKIVA)Brett Gurewitz är med och bakgrundssjunger på låten Mothersound. Aldrig fel att få med en sådan klassisk sångare. Inte för att han hörs egentligen men han finns med där. Annars spelar FFTL en musik som är riktigt mäktigt, hårt utan att vara heavy metal, snabbt utan att vara punkigt, dystert utan att vara goth. Ja, ni förstår hur det låter eller? Lite lätt desperat är det och jag kan tänka mig att ni som gillar hardcore skulle säkert uppskatta detta ganska mycket även om det kanske är en stökigare stil än hardcore på något sätt. Kul att höra och se att det finns band likt dessa som verkligen skiter i alla trender och de kör på på ett sätt som stökar något alldeles förskräckligt.(SJU) 2/3-06 |

Not so that he can be heard but he´s there. Otherwise FFTL plays a music which is really mighty, hard without being heavy metal, fast without being punk, depressive without being goth. Yeah, you understand how it sounds or? A little bit desperate is it and I can imagine that you who likes hardcore would surely appreciate this much even if this is a more messier style than hardcore in some way. It´s fun to hear and see that there is bands which really don´t give a damn about all trends and they go on in some way and they mess things around.(SEVEN) 2/3-06 |
