ECHOBRAIN-GLEAN(CD-SURFDOG RECORDS/CHOPHOUSE RECORDS 44023-2/PLAYGROUND) Jason Newsted är producent till denna skiva och Echobrain är intressanta. Det handlar inte om heavy metal eller så utan här är det mer lugn musik som är väldigt svårplacerad på något sätt. Visst , de har säkert lyssnat till metal ibland men det finns lika stora delar pop och rock här. Lite Beatles i några av låtarna , som i Knock em out där jag tycker mig höra en Lennon-McCartney komposition. De kanske aldrig kommer upp på listorna med sin musik för de har väl inga riktiga hitlåtar men jag kan tänka mig att recensenterna jublar.(SEX) 25/3-04 |

It´s not heavy metal or so because this is more calm music and it´s very hard to put in a special style. Sure, they have surely listened to metal sometimes but it´s as much pop and rock here. Some Beatles in some of the songs, as in Knock em out where I hear it as Lennon-McCartney have done it. They maybe don´t come up on the charts with their music because they have no real hitsongs here but I can think that the reviewers think this is really good.(SIX) 25/3-04 |
