Slan kommer från Göteborg och i Göteborg är punkarna hårda, så också Slan. Kanske inte de mest positiva texterna k världen men världen är inte så positiv nuförtiden heller. Det går fort som fan och jag bara älskar det. Kanske tur att det finns texter skivan men man förstår den ilskna känslan utan att behöva läsa texterna egentligen. Men jag gillar verkligen deras uppkäftiga stil och när Slan spelar blir musik som Discharge nästan dansband för såpass hårda och snabba är Slan. Jag har aldrig sett dem men jag kan tänka mig att det går vilt till på deras konserter. Skulle vara kul om en sådan här grupp fick lite mer uppmärksamhet men det är alldeles för hårt för gemene man och jag är kanske glad för det också får då får man ha dem för sig själv..men glöm inte att det finns en hård hardcoregrupp som heter Slan och framförallt ska ni ge dem chansen att störa ert liv så kolla in en med en gång. Earth Crust Dosplacement är inte så lite hårda de heller…Jag tror de är tyskar men vet inte men det är ungefär samma ös och galenskap i denna grupp så de passar verkligen att splitta en skiva med Slan. För det går ungefär lika fort även om sången kanske hörs lite bättre än vad Slans sång gör. Det är skönt med musik som rensar både öron och själ på detta vis och hade någon sagt till mig när punken kom att det kommer att finnas musik som är så här hård och snabb om 50 år så hade jag inte trott dem men likväl finns den och jag älskar bara ECD för deras musik är kompromisslös och bra…korta texter utan hopp ger mig hopp….köp skivan för helvete! 23/10-2026

Slan comes from Gothenburg and in Gothenburg the punks are hard, so also Slan. Maybe not the most positive lyrics in the world but the world is not so positive nowadays either. It goes fast as hell and I just love it. Maybe lucky that there are lyrics on the record but you understand the angry feeling without having to read the lyrics really. But I really like their cool style and when Slan plays music like Discharge becomes almost danceband because so hard and fast is Slan. I have never seen them but I can imagine that it goes wild on their concerts. Would be fun if a group like this got a little more attention but it ́s way too hard for the common man and I ́m maybe happy because it too then you get to have them to yourself. But don ́t forget that there is a hard hardcore group called Slan and above all you should give them the chance to disturb your life so check one out right away. Earth Crust Displacement are not so little hard either... I think they are Germans but I don ́t know but it ́s about the same speed and madness in this group so they really fit to split a record with Slan. Because it goes about as fast even if the vocals maybe can be heard a little better than what Slans vocals does. It ́s nice with music which clears both ears and soul in this way and if someone had said to me when punk came that there will be music that is this hard and fast in 50 years I would not have believed them but still it exists and I just love ECD because their music is uncompromising and good... Short lyrics without hope gives me hope....buy the record for hells sake! 23/10-2026
