DUST BOWL JOKIES-DBJ(CD-RODEOSTAR RECORDS I 160472)

Jag har ställt in denna i min pärm för garagerock och det är väl ett epitet som verkligen stämmer på denna skiva tycker jag. För den här typen av lite sleazig rock a´la Hardcore Superstar, Backyard Babies, Hellacopters etc passar verkligen in där i allra högsta grad. Det finns mycket attityd i det de gör och jag tror självklart att ni som gillare de nyss nämnda banden kommer att gilla DBJ också för de har precis samma inställning till att göra musik. De har säkert lyssnat både på hårdrock och på punk genom tiderna och då blir det gärna så här..Riktigt bra melodier, bra låtar och mycket attityd och då känner jag mig mer än nöjd måste jag säga. I Borderland har de tagit lite från någon AC/DC låt som jag inte kan komma på vilken det är(Thunderstruck?) men ni kanske hör det samma som mig och jag tycker verkligen att ni ska ge gruppen en chans att komma in i era liv. 174-2016

I have putthis in my binder for garage rock and it is well an epithet that certainly it´s the right on this record I think. For this type of little sleazy rock a'la Hardcore Superstar, Backyard Babies, The Hellacopters, etc. really fit in there very much. There are a lot of attitude in what they do and I think obviously you who likes the aforementioned bands will like DBJ also because they have exactly the same approach for making music. They certainly listened to both hard rock and punk all the time, and then it will be like this. Really good melodies, good songs and a lot of attitude and then I feel more than satisfied, I must say. In Borderland, they have taken little from some AC / DC song that I can not think of what it is (Thunderstruck!) But you might not hear the same as me, but I really think you should give the group a chance to come into your lives . 1/4-2016

Ett namn att komma ihåg eller kanske inte för jag tycker det är ett namn på en grupp som är riktigt svårt att komma ihåg och det kanske inte är så smart eller så kanske det är det….Man förstod ju rätt snabbt på omslag och på hur gruppen såg ut hur den här musiken skulle låta och det är helt okej rock n roll punk glam som är grejen för bandet. De gör det bra men det är väl inte så att gruppen på något sätt skiljer sig från andra grupper i genren men habilt och bra och en fullängdare kanske. 4/1-2012

Another name to remember och maybe not because I think that this is a name on the group which is really hard to remember and that´s maybe not so smart or maybe it is that…You understood really fast on the cover and how the group looked like how the music would sound and it´s an OK rock n roll punk glam which is the thing for the band. They do it good but it isn´t so that the group is anything apart from other groups in the same style but it´s really habile and good and a fullength maybe. 4/1-2012
