words and music by DFO 2003 står det på skivan inte riktigt rätt kanske. Två
Clash låtar What´s my name och English Civil War pryder denna skiva
tillsammans med två riktigt bra låtar. Även här hörs och känns känslan de
har för den gamla punken mycket. Jag tycker nog att Drongos for Europe är

maybe. Two Clashsongs What´s my name and English Civil War is on this record
together with two own songs which is really good songs. You can hear also
that they have the feeling for the old punkstyle and I think that Drongos

DRONGOS FOR EUROPE-BARCODE GENERATION(CD-DRONGOS FOR EUROPE) Jag
må vara barnslig eller naiv eller rent av nostalgiker men Drongos of Europe
har gjort en fruktansvärt bra skiva med sin Barcode Generation. Trots att de
har blivit äldre och säkert grånat lite grand så spelar de en typ av
punkrock som känns väldigt fräsch och framförallt väldigt äkta. Jag blir
otroligt glad av att höra den här skivan och dess blandning av UK Subs,
Exploited och GBH och då på ett ändå ganska eget sätt. Här spelas det inte
på rutin utan för att man verkligen älskar det man gör och för att man lever

DRONGOS FOR EUROPE-BARCODE GENERATION(CD-DRONGOS FOR EUROPE) I
must be childish or naive or maybe nostalgian but Drongos of Europe have
done a fucking good record with their Bardcode Generation. And though they
have been older and maybe been aliitle bit more grey in their hair they play
a sort of punkrock which really feels fresh and honest. I get really happy
to hear their mix of UK Subs, Exploited and GBH and then in a way which
really sounds a little bit own and not only on routine. Because here they
play the things they really love and they do it because of the fact that
they live punkrock. Please check this out and do it really fast..(NINE)

DRONGOS FOR EUROPE-LIVE IN THE USA(CD-DRONGOS FOR EUROPE) Här vi
även höra hur de låter live och jag kan tänka mig att en konsert med dem är
en höjdare. På skiva faller det lite platt tycker jag men i vilket fall så
finns det ett helt gäng bra låtar med på skivan och någon/några har fått
plats också. Ljudet är väl sådär men jag kan tänka mig att de som var där
avgudar detta. En konsert med mycket sväng och hårda toner, det är livet
det.... Mycket bra punkrock i alla fall.(SJU) 30/7-03 |
DRONGOS FOR EUROPE-LIVE IN THE USA(CD-DRONGOS FOR EUROPE) Here we
will hearhow they sound live and I can think that a concert with them are a
really good experience. On record it sounds a little boring but it´s a whole
lot of good songs on this record too, both new and old ones. The sound
quality is both bad and good but I can think taht the people who were there
really likes this one.. A concert with the group it must be reall much swing
and hard tunes, that´s life that....Very good punkrock is it anyway(SEVEN)

DRONGOS FOR EUROPE-WASTED(MINI-CD DRONGOS FOR EUROPE) Denna skiva
kom ut 2001 och innehåller 4 låtar. Nothing else to say är en kaskad av allt
man vill ha inom punken och en bra punklåt skall innehålla följande, bra
melodier, en sångare som inte låter för töntig och en text som är bra.
Drongos lyckas med detta i alla sina låtar(nästan) och i titellåten låter de
precis sådär råa som jag vill ha dem och då menar jag sångaren

DRONGOS FOR EUROPE-WASTED(MINI-CD DRONGOS FOR EUROPE) This record
came out 2001 and it contains 4 songs. Nothing else to say is a cascade of
everything I want to have in a punksong, good melodies, a singer which
sounds really raw and not to nerdy and a lyrics which is good. Drongos
suceed with this in almost every song they do and in the titletrack they
sound as raw as I want them(the singer I mean).... 30/7-03 |
