Resurrection som inleder skivan ger mig nästan en Johnny Cash-feeling inledningsvis och låten ger mig rusningar på ett positivt sätt. Det countrydoftande fortsätter på skivan och det blir någon slags indiecountry som är anden som svävar över plattan. Tänk lite tidiga DAD tillsammans med Walkabouts och detta med Johnny Cash/Nick Cave på sång. Inte så att jag på något sätt vill ta ifrån Don Darlings att detta är en riktigt bra skiva med alla jämförelser, det är mer bara för att ni ån av de bättre i genren och denna skiva kommer att rulla ofta på min skivtallrik. Kolla in med en gang om ni hade missat skivan precis som jag hade gjort! 12/7-2019

Resurrection that initiates the album gives me almost a Johnny Cash feeling initially and the song gives me rushes in a positive way. The countrysmelling music continues on the record and there is some kind of indie country that is the spirit that hoveres over the record. Think some early DAD together with Walkabouts and this with Johnny Cash / Nick Cave on song. Not that I want to take away something from Don Darlings in any way that this is a really good album with all the comparisons, it's more just because you would understand the class with the album and it is very high as you understand. I like the album sharp and one of the better in the genre and this album will often roll on my turntable. Check out right away if you had missed the record just as I had done! 12/7-2019

Jag vet inte hur det gick till men jag hade fått för mig att den här gruppen spelade någon slags garagerock men där hade jag fel. Precis som på ovanstående skiva är de ten typ av indiecountry och om Perssons Pack hade sjungit på engelska så kanske det hade låtit lite som detta. The Midnight Ghost är en av mina favoritlåtar på skivan där den utvecklas till en vacker duett mellan kvinna och man och jag gillar den skarpt. Man får en känsla av södern i Texas eller något sådant i The Devil lives in Dallas och sångaren har en riktigt go bluesröst, en svart röst om man säger så…Jag njuter i fulla drag av skivan och jag skulle nog råda alla riktiga rockare att köpa skivan…..annars är ni dumma i huvudet. För er som gillar Johnny Cash, Jason & The Scorchers, tidiga DAD etc. 12/7-2019

I do not know how it went but I had in mind  that this group played some kind of garage rock, but I was wrong. Just as on the above record, they are kind of indiecountry and if Persson's Pack had sung in English then it might have been a bit like this. The Midnight Ghost is one of my favorite songs on the album where it develops into a beautiful duet between woman and man and I like it sharply. You get a feeling of the south in Texas or something like that in The Devil lives in Dallas and the singer has a really good blues voice, a black voice if you say so ... I enjoy in full of the record and I would probably advise all real rockers to buy the disc… ..are you stupid in your head if you don´t do it. For those who like Johnny Cash, Jason & The Scorchers, early DAD etc. 12/7-2019

Låten börjar som en dansbandslåt först och jag börjar undra vad detta skall bli. Men låten Monster är en slags countrystänkare i samma anda som en grupp som Jason and the Scorchers eller något liknande och den känns ganska fräck faktiskt. Det fortsätter i den stilen och på något sätt lyckas de få till ett eget sound och det var nog den gamla gruppen Hollywood indians som lät så här på detta vis förra gången i Sverige och det var ju ett tag sedan. Tidiga DAD hade ju också detta sound men de gick ju över till mer metalliknande musik. En stunds underhållning är det i alla fall. 6/4-2012

The sogs starts as a dancebandsong first and I start wonder how this would be. But the song Monster is some sort of countrysong in the same spirit as a group like Jason and the Scorchers or something similar and it feels really cool actually. They continue in that style and in some way they seems to ahve a really own sound and it was the old group Hollywood Indians which sounded like this the last time in Sweden and that was a while since then. Early DAD had also this sound but hey went over to some more metallic sound. A nice time of entertainment is this anyway. 6/4-2012
