Jag har ju precis börjat lära mig att gilla Johnny Cash så jag uppskattar detta mer och mer måste jag säga. Två låtar som går i samma skola som Johnny gör och jag tror absolut att ni som gillar country kommer att avguda detta till trots att det handlar om saker som inte countrylåtar brukar att göra. I have precisly began to like Johnny cash and that sort of music and I really appreciate this more and more I must say. Two songs which goes in the same style as Johnnys and I think absolutely that you people who like country would like this much. COFFINSHAKERS-HALLOWEEN (SINGEL, REANIMATOR RECORDS HWR 018) En av 666 kopior har förärats mig av Coffinshakers undebara ep Halloween.  som är en countrydoftande ep som får mig att tänka på en gammal svensk grupp som hette Dead Scouts och kanske lite av tidiga DAD. Jag kan tänka mig att några tidiga Johnny Cash skivor också har snurrat på Coffinshakers skivspelare så det är en underlig samling saker med tanke på låttitlarna som är Helloween, Bloodless och Die Die Die och allt detta uppblandat med country(SJU) 7/1-01

 COFFINSHAKERS-HALLOWEEN (SINGEL, REANIMATOR RECORDS HWR 018) One of 666 copies have been given to me of Coffinshakers wonderful ep called Helloween. It´sa countrysmelling ep which reminds me of an old swedish group called Dead Scouts and maybe a little early DAD. I can think that Johnny Cash have been ob the record players in Coffinshakers earlier years. But it´s an odd compilation of songtitles like  Helloween, Bloodless nd Die Die Dieand all this mixed with country(SEVEN) 7/1-01
COFFINSHAKERS-WE ARE THE UNDEAD(CD-PRIMITIVE ART PAR 012/HOK/MNW) Ni som minns hur det kändes när man hörde Call of The Wild med DAD för första gången kan få lite av samma känsla nu. Det känns som en fortsättning på den skivan fast med Johnny Cash på sång. Helt klart är Coffinshakers fräcka, jävligt fräcka och jag undrar om de inte skulle kunna bli jävligt stora i rätt kretsar. Deras countrypunk dunkar fram rätt så rejält och jag gillar den verkligen för det finns inte många som låter så här. Helst av allt skulle jag vilja höra deras låtar framföras som soundtrack till en cowboyfilm av han som gjorde Pulp Fiction(kommer inte ihåg)  (SJU)  8/6-00 COFFINSHAKERS-WE ARE THE UNDEAD(CD-PRIMITIVE ART PAR 012/HOK/MNW) You which are remebering when you first heard Call of The Wild with DAD can get the same feeling here with this record. It feels like the second record but with Johnny Cash on vocals. Coffinshakers are pretty fresh and I wonder if they don´t have a chance to get really big soon in the right places. Their countrypunk are going fast foreward and I really like them because it´s not many who are sounding like this. I really want to hear their songs as a soundtrack to a cowboymovie with the man who did Pulp Fiction(what´s his name now again) (SEVEN)  8/6-00
