ALEX FACE-SMELLS LIKE A WOMAN (CD ALLEYCAT RECORDS ALC009)

En grupp som hade glömt av var Jon Spencer Blues Explosion men jag blev brutalt uppväckt från den drömmen att de inte fanns för inledningen på Alex Face låter som om det är musik tagen från det bandets skivor tillsammans med Creedence för jag tycker sångaren har en röst som påminner om ung John Fogerty tillsammans med Howlin Pelle från Hives. Jävligt fräckt och egentligen ganska annorlunda skivan och det är riktigt bra attityd och grabbarna låter tuffa och lite farliga på samma gång. A group which I have forgotten was Jon Spencer Blues Explosion but I become brutally aware about that dream that they didn´t was around because the intro on Alex face record sounds like if this is music taken from that bands records together with Creedence because I think the singer have a voice which remind me about an young John Fogerty together with Howlin Pelle from Hives. Really cool actually and a rather different record and it´s really good attitude and the guys is sounding tough and a little bit dangerous in the same time. Does this sounds interesting…buy it for god´s sake and don´t just sit there. …17/2-2010
