1919-BLOODLINE(CD-WESTWORLD RECORDINGS)

Det här bandet bildades 1980 och försvann sedan i mitten av 80-talet tror jag. De har återbildats och här är nya skivan….33 år efter första skivan. Det står i releasepapperet att detta är ett måste för Bauhaus och Killing Joke-fans. Alltså för mig! Det är det verkligen och jag trodde inte att detta skulle vara något men när titellåten och inledningslåten sätter igång så tycker jag att det låter som om Public Image Ltd och Bauhaus har slagit sina påsar ihop och det är verkligen ett sound som jag gillar och det är väldigt mycket mer attityd än jag någonsin skulle ha trott.  En av de bättre i genren de senaste åren(vilken genre det nu är) men ni som kan er musikhistoria vet vad jag menar och det är verkligen en bra beskrivning det som står i releasebladet angående Bauhaus och Killing Joke för det stämmer verkligen….lyssna för fan! 8/2-2017

This band was formed in 1980 and then disappeared in the mid-80s, I think. They have re-formed and this is the new album ... .33 years after the first record. It says in a release paper that this is a must for Bauhaus and Killing Joke fans. And then it must be for me! It really is and I did not think this would be anything but when the title song and the opening song starts, I think it sounds like Public Image Ltd. and Bauhaus have joined forces and it really is a sound that I like and it is a lot more attitude than I ever would have imagined. One of the better in the genre in recent years (which genre it is?) but you who can your music history know what I mean and it's really a good description it says in a release sheet about the Bauhaus and Killing Joke because it is really true ... .listen to it for god´s sake! 8/2-2017

Jag tror detta är allt som 1919 spelade in och sådan här musik älskar jag. Jag var inne i en gothperiod ett kort tag. Jag gillar Bauhaus ännu och även Sex Gang Children tillhör grupper som jag gillar. Jag vet inte om Theatre of Hate också räknas dit. I alla fall tillbaks till 1919 som spelar en tidstypiskt gothmusik för 80-talet med ena benet i punken och andra i synthmusiken och allt detta med en egentligen mycket egen stil. Mycket rytmer är ganska karakteristiskt för gruppen och tänk er en blandning av Adam and the Ants och  Duran Duran så kanske ni kan tänka er 1919:s musik. 15/11-04

I think that this is everything that 1919 recorded and these music I really love. I was into a gothperiod once.  I like Bauhaus today too and also Sex gang Children is among groups I like today. I don´t know if Theatre of Hate also is there. Anyway back 1919 which plays timetypical gothic music for the 80´s with one leg in the punk and the other one in the synthmusic and all this mixed with a very own style. Much rhythms is really charecteristic  for the group and imagine yourself a mix of Adam and the Ants and Duran Duran so can you maybe think how 1919 sounds. 15/11-04
